The tree

The tree, which defines an element that exists concretely in nature, is an element that has various cultural meanings and symbolic values. The tree, which is basically seen as a symbol of life, vitality, immortality, abundance, fertility, hope, fertility, reproduction, health and well-being, has an important place in most cultures. The meanings attributed to the tree vary, such as "tree of life", "tree of wishes", "tree of life", "cosmic tree", "sacred tree".

Human and tree are constantly face to face in natural life. People living in the prehistoric period used the symbols of dominating nature and the animals they fought in their paintings on cave walls. In addition to this, the tree in which human takes refuge in its hole or eats the fruit is also included in human life. Human had described his way of life, his struggle with his prey, and his rituals on a magical basis. While humans and animals struggle for survival in the paintings, a tree branch rising in the middle of the painting only witnesses this event. It is the spectator.

They can be rooted on cliffs on mountain slopes with minimal soil or water, grow up to hundreds of meters, and with their branches in the sky and roots below the ground, they provide us with the needed balance between our spiritual and physical lives.

The tree of life, the symbol of God, the most sacred tree, or the tree of saints, which is among the tree mythologies, according to belief, the roots of this tree, which rises from the middle of the world, go underground, and its branches rise to the top of the world mountain. Thus, this sacred tree connects all three levels of the earth (sky, earth and underground).

The first man was created under this nine-knotted tree. The Tree of Life connects people with each other and with nature. According to the belief, it ascends to the sky beyond being seen with the naked eye and reaches the heavenly realm of light in the sky.

In ancient times, the concept of wishing trees arose in places that had no geographical, linguistic, or cultural connection to each other.

The practice of manifesting wishes using trees continues to this day, sometimes in traditional ways, but other times in new forms.
